(0)
Maths (Cross Curricular with History) - 400th anniversary William Shakespeare. Here is a perfect resource for children to practice their directions in Maths which ties in with the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare. This is a Maths lesson resource that teaches children to use mathematical vocabulary to follow and describe direction and movement. This is ideal for KS1 and KS2 lower. This lesson features William Shakespeare, who will be the main character. The game teaches children to use vocabulary to turn clockwise, anti-clockwise, and etc... Rules: children to work in pairs. One child gives commands, such as take 2 steps forward, turn 90 degrees clockwise, and so on.. The other child will control William Shakespeare. They will swap roles later. They can also draw other objects (barriers) onto the paper to make it even harder for their partners. This resource can be used as an additional resource to teach computing, or as a fun activity.
